I just got home and my neighbor had just left me a message that a big Rottweiler was in our backyard killing a chicken! WHAT THE H?!?! So, I looked out the window and sure enough, there’s a dead chicken in the yard. I saw that my neighbor was still out on her deck, so I went out the front door to walk around and talk to her and the dog was still sitting on the side of the house! I turned right back around and went quickly back in the house. Then, I went out on my deck to tell my neighbor that I was home and thank her for letting me know and she said that the dog had also peed on every toy and piece of playground equipment in the backyard. GROSS!!! So then, I tried to call animal control and didn’t manage to navigate the menu options to a real person. AHHH!!! Oh, and just for fun, there was a dead mouse on the steps when I went out the front door. Getting the yard fenced has just now moved up to the #1 spot on my priority list. Lucky for me, I called Mike and he and Nate came home and disposed of the mouse and the chicken and I didn't have to have anything else to do with it. It comes in handy to have a husband and a brother at my beckon call. But, dude! Seriously, I live in a subdivision! What is going on?
